Join the movement...the Maker Movement! As schools look towards the skills necessary for students to be successful beyond the school walls they are searching for ways to promote critical thinking, collaboration, and a "fail-first" mentality.
Makerspaces are a solution for promoting a culture of creativity and innovation (even with limited or no additional resources). This presentation focuses on one school's experience in launching a makerspace - developing a vision, reviewing the lessons learned, and identifying some "ground rules" for successful implementation.
